Dr. Frank Furfaro
Dr Frank received his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honors at the University of Western Australia in 2005, where he graduated top of his class. He was awarded numerous prizes including the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize and the Wynn Needham Memorial Prize for the highest achieving student over the five years of the dentistry degree, the Western Australian College of Dental Science Prize in Restorative Dentistry, the Tom E. Scott Memorial Prize and the Eric Williams Prize in Prosthodontics, the Kenneth J G Sutherland Prize in Clinical Dentistry, and the Australian Society of Orthodontists Prize in Orthodontics. After working as a general dentist for four years, Dr Frank went on to complete his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the University of Western Australia in 2012, again graduating top of his class.
Dr Frank is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Orthodontic Board, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Dental Specialists Society of WA. Dr Frank has been the President of both the Australian Society of Orthodontists (WA Brank) and the Dental Specialists Society of WA.
Dr Frank is dedicated to providing his patients with exceptional orthodontic care and is committed to continuing education to ensure he is at the forefront of orthodontic knowledge, regularly participating in meetings and conferences nationally and internationally. Dr Frank was also the co-scientific chair for the Austrlaian Society of Orthodotics bi-annual congress 2022.
Dr Frank started Victoria Park Orthodontics in 2015 to provide his patients with the highest quality orthodontic care in a fun and enjoyable environment. He enjoys nothing more than seeing the positive changes that a great smile can make to his patients.
Dr Frank grew up on his family’s orchards in the beautiful Bickley Valley and Donnybrook. He has been a Victoria Park local since 2011, enjoying this amazing suburb and its cafes and stunning parks with his wife, Brenda, and their daughter, Alexis.
